Roger Jr. Del Campo passed away on Monday, October 20th, 2025. Roger Jr. was born on August 7th, 1975, in Plainview, Texas, to Roger Del Campo and Alyssa Hill. He attended Texas Tech University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He started teaching jiu-jitsu classes at the TTU Rec Center and opened his first gym, West Texas Jiu-Jitsu Academy, in January 2021. He coached for many years and impacted so many lives as a friend, big brother, and mentor. He not only opened a gym but also created a family with a culture of continuous improvement and pushing his students to their limits. He impacted so many lives in a positive way and will be missed by many.

Roger Del Campo, Jr, is buried in the Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview, Texas.
